In-Person Help: If you or someone you know is in immediate danger call 911 or go to the nearest hospital or emergency room. In Minnesota, both Hennepin Healthcare and Regions Hospital offer psychiatric emergency services.
Mobile Crisis Teams: Many counties, including Hennepin and Ramsey, offer mobile crisis teams that will come to you, offering support and helping you navigate the next steps.
What to Expect When You Call a Crisis Hotline:
Confidentiality: Your conversations are confidential. The goal is to provide immediate support, and your privacy will be respected.
Supportive Listening: When you reach out, you'll speak with a trained crisis counselor who will listen, provide emotional support, and help you assess what steps to take next.
