Hello, my name is Greg Pehl, and I’m the founder of Helpful Elephant. In 2024, I set out to create this website with a heartfelt goal: to make it easier for people in the Twin Cities to access the community resources they need in one simple, user-friendly place.

As someone who grew up in the Twin Cities and now works as a social worker and peer support specialist here, I’ve seen firsthand how vital it is for people to have clear pathways to support. I’m deeply passionate about connecting individuals with the resources that can help them thrive, and I hope Helpful Elephant can be a part of that journey.
